While you're scrolling through Instagram, you're bound to come across some photos of celebrities that look… familiar but different. There's something strange about them, but you can't quite put your finger on it. That's when you realize that they're actually morphs of different pairs of celebrities, lovingly mixed by French artist Morphy_me, aka Benjamin.

The artist blends together the faces of stars that are both very similar, and wildly different. What's more, he's not afraid to mix male and female celeb faces from time to time, either. Before you ask, no, Benji doesn't use FaceApp for his projects. His exact process is a well-kept secret that he refuses to reveal to this very day. But one thing's for sure—you can't argue with results; he's drawing in the crowds.

The Morphy_me Instagram page currently has 104k followers and Benji's fandom doesn't look like it'll stop growing any time soon.

The humble artist told Insider that he's glad there are people who enjoy his work. He's pleasantly surprised by how much his page has been growing and he had no idea his mashups would become so popular. “I got reposted by big magazines, big accounts, and noticed by celebrities themselves, it's just so crazy!" he shared his joy.

Benjamin now spends around an hour on each one of his morphs. Having started the page back in 2015, he's now updated his workflow and added in several steps to make the end results look more realistic.

He said he tries to run the page the same way he did when he first started back in 2015. His method is a close-kept secret, but he did reveal each "morph" takes about an hour to complete.

"I want the morph to be more detailed and disturbing. So now I spend more time editing it, but post less frequently,” he told Insider.
