The Rock Pulls Off His Front Gate With His Bare Hands After Power Outage, Ryan Reynolds Has The Perfect Response
One of the best and the worst things about friends is that they’ll always find a way to tease you and troll you. It’s all in good fun, of course. For instance, let’s talk about the hilarious incident that happened between these two famous pals a few days ago.
Here’s the situation. Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, ripped apart his own front gate with his bare hands. Why, you ask? Apparently, he wasn’t able to get out of his home and go to work because of a power outage causing his gate not to open. So, he was forced to be creative and come up with something. And so he did.
The Rock explained the whole incident under one of his Instagram posts
“Not my finest hour, but a man’s gotta go to work,” the actor explains in his Instagram post. “We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open. I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out—but this time it wouldn’t.”
“Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn’t have 45 min to wait,” The Rock continues. “So I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled, and ripped the gate completely off myself. Tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass.” Yep, he just casually ripped apart his front gate with his bare hands.
This comment by Ryan Reynolds currently has over 70,000 likes
Many people were absolutely blown away. “Grown man moves! No excuses,” someone commented under his post. “I think the rock might be the security to the security team…” other user added. Of course, his co-star Ryan Reynolds wouldn’t be Ryan Reynolds if he didn’t have something to say as well.
“The gate opened the OTHER way,” Ryan commented, earning more than 70,000 likes. Many found this comment absolutely hilarious.
“Maybe next time I’ll just hop the gates and call an Uber. Actually, no I won’t”
Later, The Rock shared another post in which he showed the aftermath of the incident in more detail. “Well, here’s the destruction I left behind after pulling my gates off myself and going to work,” The Rock writes in his post. “This footage was taken from my security after I had already left and he arrived on the scene. The second video is of our technicians and welders carrying one of the gates and placing it gently in the grass.”
“Maybe next time I’ll just hop the gates and call an Uber. Actually, no I won’t. There’s no fun in that,” Dwayne added. That’s the spirit!
